Igor Dikiy is an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Kevin Gardner’s lab. Igor got his B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University in 2009, working in the lab of Dr. A. James Link, using peptide synthesis to study the folding of the antimicrobial lasso peptide microcin J25. In 2015, Igor graduated from the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, having studied the conformational properties of intrinsically disordered proteins involved in neurodegenerative diseases in the lab of Dr. David Eliezer.
Structural and functional studies of proteins that sense the environment in bacteria and humans.
